More Snowflake summit festivities

We're hosting a panel with our friends at Infostrux later today on establishing AI readiness with a focus on data governance.

This will be streamed live from the Industry room at the W Hotel for those who are not at Snowflake Summit. But if you are, stop by!

Right after the panel, we'll be kicking off our karaoke happy hour. Come for the content, stay to sing your heart out.

️ New automations capabilities

In addition to automations being able to be triggered on a schedule, now automations can also be triggered by schema changes giving you even more power and flexibility to scale your governance workflows.

We have added new actions like sending notifications via email and Slack to keep stakeholders informed. Actions can be mixed and matched

Some potential use cases:

  • Use the Edit action to add a tag to any Unverified resources, and have an Announcement following that informs all that they should get their resources to a Verified state.
  • When a schema changes, send out an email to any team members outside of Secoda.

Empower everyone to use data

ICYMI, last week we launched the next generation of Secoda AI

Some use cases include:

  • Data engineers can receive instant explanations about data origins and transformations - crucial for managing data integrity.
  • Assess the impact of changes in the database, such as what would happen if a column is dropped on a certain table.
  • Business users can ask questions directly to Secoda AI without needing to go through the data team
  • Secoda AI assists in preparing complex data analysis, saving time and increasing productivity by automating routine data handling tasks.
