View and Edit Resource Metadata

Access and make changes to resource metadata from the most popular BI and data warehouse tools, right from the tab you’re already in. If you’re working away on a table or view in Snowflake for example, the Secoda Chrome extension allows you to view and edit the metadata of the table and its columns directly in Snowflake.

Whether you’re looking at a dashboard and need to find a definition, make a quick change to the owner of a table, add a missing tag, or find a column description, you can rapidly find context and make changes that will be reflected in Secoda, right from the Chrome extension.

Access and Search Resource Lineage

See the upstream and downstream lineage of the resource without having to leave the other tools you’re working in. The extension allows you to see lineage relationships at different depths, and access the lineage graph within the Secoda UI, so you can quickly understand what you’re working with.

This is especially useful when coming across information you may be unfamiliar with, as a quick check to see if there is any context in Secoda to get you up to speed, fast.
