Today, we're excited to announce our new Fivetran Integration. With this new integration, teams will be able to understand where the data in their warehouse is coming from and where is it going afterwards. The building blocks of data organization are sources that are driving data into the warehouse. Without visibility into how a fivetran connector flows into a data source, a business user could have a more tough time navigating the data across their data warehouse.

With this new integration, everyone at the company can understand what sources are powering your BI tools and warehouse destinations. Depending on the type of connectors, Fivetran either collects data that the source pushes to us or sends a request to the source and then grabs the data that the source sends in response. For v1 of our integration, we focused on displaying information about the connectors (i.e. Stripe, Github, Intercom) that push data to your destinations (i.e. Redshift, Bigquery, Snowflake) in Fivetran. Secoda also allows data teams to document these sources and connectors and get notified when they fail.

The integration with Fivetran enhances our ability to provide information on how the data is processed, information on how the data is created and used and information on the frequency and types of updates to the data. This will help us make a more intuitive and relevant search experience for everyone who integrates Fivetran to Secoda. Our goal is to build the most intuitive data discovery platform for all users. We're super excited to help data teams find clarity in the sea of data and are continuing to work towards integrations and features that can make data discovery simple.
